Application:

The Slurry Erosive Wear Tester is used to test the erosive resistance of solid materials to slurry composites, various materials can be tested such as polymers, plastics, hard materials etc.

Method:

The Slurry Erosive Wear Tester has been designed to determine erosive properties of materials. Samples of Slurry Erosion Tester have been prepared in the size of 75x25x4 to 6 mm & all the samples were cleaned and weighed before insertion in to the Rig. Slurry contains water and sand particle. Samples are fixed with six rotating spindles and six stainless steel pots, all the six pots submerged with water cooled re-circulating system to maintain slurry temperature, the test can be carried out with known RPM and contains duration after successful test. Finally specific weight loss has been determined.
